Hanalei Taro, 1988

There's an old wooden bridge on the way to Hanalei on Kauai where there always seems to be one or two people fishing. The place is so quintessentially peaceful that it's very difficult not to feel it. The water is quiet but it's moving under the bridge. The only sounds you hear are birds.

If you took a few steps off the bridge towards Hanalei and looked mauka, this is what you'd see.
