Dollar Per Bunch, 1994
Dollar Per Bunch was painted along Hamoa Beach road just past Hana. There are glassy fish ponds and turquoise water along the way asking to be painted. Many houses have their tropical flowers up for sale to those who happen by. They're always a good price, and the tin can cash box speaks volumes about the vitality of Aloha on this end of the island. It is a custom whose charm never fades.
