Beach Velvet, 2011
Dawn is my favorite time of day at the shoreline. There is a lot to reward the early riser. The wind is usually quiet at this hour leaving the water as smooth as glass. During the night, the waves have swept the beach of footprints as far as the tide could reach. Dawn comes along and the first rays of sun cast long shadows across the velvet sand. Everything is renewed for a new day.
